1. Click Research, and select PubMed to go the PubMed Online Database.
2. Enter your search term(s), and click OK.
3. On the Search Results page, set the Display to Abstract. You can also change the number of records to display. If you prefer, you can set the display to MEDLINE. Using this display, you can easily copy all the search results at once.
4. Highlight and copy the record(s) you want to include in your datafile.
5. In Citation, click Research, Import Record in Citation.
6. Review the record to make certain the information is correct.

You can set the option to display the records in MEDLINE format. The MEDLINE format is more difficult to read onscreen, but the records are more accurately imported into Citation. You can check the records that interest you, and then click Display, MEDLINE. Press Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C to copy all the records, and then click Research, Import to add them to your datafile..

For example:

On the PubMed site, we ran a search for tsunami , which returned 243 articles. We set the display to Abstract, with 500 showing at a time so we could view all the articles that the search returned:
We then highlighted the articles we were interested in and copied them.
Then we imported the records into Citation:
We could have displayed all the records in MEDLINE format: From the MEDLINE display page, you can copy and import all the records at once.
