We've included a Portable Citation Pack with Citation 9.
Portable Citation is a trim version of Citation -- including all
the files necessary for the program to function -- that will fit
on a memory card that you can take with you to the library,
on vacation, and use with other computers.
The space required for Portable Citation is so small that you'll
even have room on your memory card for your datafile.
To install and use Portable Citation:
- Click on the Install Portable Citation option on your installation disk to install the Portable Citation Pack.
If you are working with the downloadable, you need to install the file called citation9setup-portable.exe.
A subfolder named “Portable Citation” will be created in your Citation folder.
- Open the PortableCitation folder, double click on the file named citation.exe, and enter your serial number.
- Copy the files in the Portable Citation folder to your Travel Drive.
If you have customized files you used with Citation (forms.def, for instance), copy these into your Portable Citation folder.
