Most bibliographic programs, have import filters to convert Citation datafiles; there is not usually a need to export the information from Citation to an intermediary file.

If you find this is preferable, however, you can export your Citation datafiles in a number of different formats.

    Endnote Refer
    ProCite
    RIS (Reference Manager)

To export a Citation datafile

  1. Open your Citation datafile, and choose Generate, Bibliography.
  2. Change the publishing style radio button to Custom, and select the custom format file to use for the export.
  3. Change the Write Bibliography to setting to File, and enter a name for the text file to store your Citation records.
