Frequently saving and backing up your database will save you time and frustration should anything happen to your hard disk.

To save your datafile

Click the File, Save button on the Citation Toolbar.

To backup your datafile
You can back up your datafile by copying your datafile from c:\citation to a floppy disk, or a CD.

1. Insert a floppy disk or CD in your drive, and open the folder for the floppy or CD drive.
2. Open the citation folder
3. Drag the datafile to the drive folder. Windows will make a copy of the datafile on the floppy disk or CD.
